The following are web pages that are more along the line of articles that I've found which relate to sexual addiction.  Please email me if you find another one.

• Addicted to Love: Sex, Love & Compulsion  
  A good all-around pamphlet on the addiction.  Explains typical situations, symptoms, how to regain control of yourself and how to get past the sexual addiction.

• Addicted to Sex
  A CBN article on sexual addiction, and related to President Bill Clinton.

• Addictions/Sexual Compulsions
  A general-purpose article explaining addictions, including factors that influence people toward addiction and a description of recovery.  Not specific to sex addiction.

• Adultery and Sexual Addiction: A Plan for Healing the Soul and the Marriage  
  A site promoting healing for marriages affected by sexual sin and adultery.  I've not read the whole thing, but it appears to be an excellent piece of work from my initial perusal!

• Advice from a Christian Counselor
  An addict asks a counselor: "If you could offer me any advice on how to conquer sexual addiction, I would be most grateful.  I am on medication. I am seeing a psychologist & psychiatrist....I still can't stop. I have almost been arrested.. I still can't stop.  I am going to die if I don't stop soon."

• Am I at risk of becoming a sex addict?
  A set of 20 questions to test for sexual addiction. Take this test if you're not sure whether or not you are an addict.

• Anorexia
  The contents of an SLAA pamphlet describing Social, Sexual and Emotional Anorexia.   Includes a 50-question self-test.

• Are you sexually Self-Destructive?  
  I don't agree with the author's point of view that sex addicts "...often crave the low--the morning-after crash when consequences of their behavior become reality."  I'm including it because I don't have all the answers!

• Ask The Advocate
  Not everyone is a sex addict.  A young man writes in: "I really think I'm becoming a sex addict.  I'm 15, very male, and spending about three hours a day at Web sex sites.  At school, I'm reminded of sex all the time.  I know I shouldn't be, but I can't seem to help it.  Worse, I really don't want to stop.  Help!"  Read The Advocate's answer here.

• Can sex be an addiction? - Resources used to support "no"
  A list of resources which can be used to argue the viewpoint that sex cannot be an addiction.  I think it's good to have an open mind and examine both sides of the issue.

• Can sex be an addiction? - Resources used to support "yes"
  A list of resources which can be used to argue that sex can be an addiction.  Examine these while considering the "Resources used to support 'no'" above.

• Fourteen Ways to Avoid a Slip
  A very useful article from SCA's website which lists: times when we might be prone to getting into our addiction, danger signals to watch for, the initial phases of a slip, how to get out of a slip, and what to do afterwards.

• General Patterns and examples of sexual addiction
  An 11-item list of some common behaviors of sexual addicts.  Not a comprehensive list, but I doubt a truly comprehensive list could be made.  Another "self test" of sorts.

• Hero Ministries
  A virtual online support community for those struggling with an unwanted same-sex attraction.

• Homosexuality and the Truth: Male Homosexuality and Compulsive Behavior
  I've had people comment to me about this article from both sides of the fence: some appreciate the understanding it gives them, and some hate it because of its content.   The article presents a correlation between homosexuality and compulsive behavior.   Please, if you have a disagreement with the article, take it to the author :-)

• How to recognize the signs of sexual addiction
  A great article by Dr. Jennifer Schneider describing sexual addiction and coaddiction and the feelings behind those behaviors.

• How I Broke My Sexual Addiction
  A new article to SARR, but not new to the internet.  The author describes how he started in sexual addiction and how he found his way out with the help of Jesus Christ.

• Internet Pornography - the Infection of the Internet  
  An article discussing the problems -- and a possible solution -- associated with porn on the Internet.

• Is Bill Clinton Addicted to Sex?  
  An article by Monte Paulsen about the US President and his behaviors.  Warning: may be triggering.

• Is Holding Hands Enough?
  Written for the Teen Guy magazine Breakaway by Greg Johnson.  This is a man-to-man talk for teen men about maintaining integrity and stopping the physical involvement before it goes too far.

• Obsessions, Compulsions, and the Christian
  A description of OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder) including examples, related behaviors, and how to get help.

• On Addiction
  Describes the pitfalls of switching addictions.  A great quote from the article: "...sobriety is not achieved by merely avoiding our preferred 'drug'."

• Online Sexual Addiction Questionnaire  
  Take this 24-item test to determine if you might have a problem with your online sexual behavior.

• Overcoming Sexual Addiction
  A good article by Roy Masters.  As the opening paragraph says, "The following is not an academic and ineffective article on sexual abuse. It is intended for those millions of Americans who are either victims of sexual abuse, or its perpetrators, and who wish to understand and overcome their sexual problems."

• Porn Prayer Support
  A non-denominational Christian prayer and support group for people recovering from pornography addiction.

  Sharon O'Hara, M.S., answers questions on (A) when trust returns to a relationship, and (B) getting honest about one's risky behaviors

  The first few lines on the page describe it as "An Online Anthology" and "A variety of helpful ideas and inspirational personal stories from men who--perhaps like yourself--have struggled against the pornography industry's power over their sexual feelings."

• Recovery From Sexual Addiction -- An interview with Dr. Mark Laaser
  An excellent interview with one of the experts in the field of sexual addiction.   Covers: misconceptions about sexual addiction, responsibility for sexual addiction, descriptions of sexual addiction, and recovery from sexual addiction.  One good point Dr. Laaser makes: this is not a hopeless kind of problem.
